This is the secret style of success men have been enjoying as the door-opening benefit in business since the suit and tie. When a man wears “the business uniform” he is instantly seen as the professional, and given credibility; at times, even beyond his qualifications. For men, this is their brand image advantage.
In contrast, as women we don’t share the same advantage. We don’t have a singular look that speaks for us as the universal business uniform. My personal journey has prepared me to be uniquely qualified to do this work. I have been creating since my earliest memory.
After high school, fashion design training sharpened my natural gifts. Couture design training in France and Italy refined my skills even further to identify quality, at the highest levels of fabrics, fit, and construction details. An education in brand strategy filled the missing pieces that helped me understand what motivates our choices, defines our decisions, and sparks our attraction.
My career has spanned over 30 years as a corporate executive in roles as fashion designer and brand strategist for industry leading companies, serving many Fortune 100 clients. During this time, I traveled the world shopping, observing diverse cultures, examining personal styles of self-expression, discovering emerging consumer trends, and interpreting my world view to create fashion designs. Collectively, these were the sources of inspiration that combined to influence my design aesthetic and brand style perspective.
These experiences have become a gift I now share as a Personal Brand Style Strategist and lead as the trusted guide for Style Your GREATNESS.
